CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL AND WAYS AND MEANS TO MEET MONDAY

The Crookston City Council will meet tonight (Monday, June 10) in the Council Chambers at City Hall. 

The consent agenda includes the approval of the council meeting minutes from the May 28 meeting and the approval of bills and disbursements of $282,259.72. 

The city council will also be asked to approve a donation from an anonymous donor for the City of Crookston Parks & Recreation, partial payment estimate No.1 for the 2024 Street Improvements, and a Special Event Permit request for Tunes on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

The regular agenda includes the approval of writing off the debt of $140,598.16 owed by Jacobson Hospitality Inc., formerly doing business as (DBA) The Crookston Hotel and Convention Center, Todd Michael Jacobson, and Nicole Louell Jacobson.
The council will also be asked to pass resolutions regarding the City of Crookston Fund Balance Policy,  the City of Crookston Capital Asset Policy, and the employment of Jeff Shoobridge as the City of Crookston City Administrator.

 

WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE AGENDA
The Crookston Ways and Means Committee (City Council, Mayor, and Department Heads) will meet immediately after the City Council meeting in the council chambers and will discuss the Industrial Park Railroad Spur and Ward 5 Council opening after the resignation of Joe Kresl.
