Crookston City Council and Ways and Means to meet Tuesday

The Crookston City Council will meet on Tuesday, February 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Crookston City Hall Council Chambers.

The consent agenda includes the approval of the February 2 meeting minutes, a resolution approving bills and disbursements totaling $578,509.62, a resolution approving AE2S task order 22 for instrumentation and control support services, and a resolution approving AE2S task order 24 for Crookston Highway 2 design services.

The regular agenda includes a resolution approving an extension of Minnesota Investment Fund assistance to Northstar Lime, LLC; a resolution for AE2S task order 23 for Crookston lead service line replacement; and a resolution granting another temporary extension of a liquor license for the Crookston Inn.

After the City Council meeting, the Crookston Ways and Means Committee will meet, with two items on the agenda. The first item on the regular session agenda is a recommendation to appoint Theresa Tahran as the City of Crookston representative to the Polk County Affordable Housing Advisory Board.  The second item will be a closed session as they discuss the potential land sale of parcel #82.00163.01 (land in the Industrial Park – the old Colburn property). The motion to close the meeting is pursuant to Minnesota Government data practices, specifically Minnesota Statute 13D.05, Subd. 3 (c).
