CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT

The Crookston City Council will meet Monday night, August 9, at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.

The consent agenda includes approving the City Council meeting minutes from the July 26 meeting and the special City Council meeting minutes from July 19. The consent agenda also includes the approval of bills and disbursements in the amount of $300,450.30.

There will then be a proclamation from Crookston Mayor Dale Stainbrook announcing August 17 as “Charles H. Casey Day.”

The regular agenda includes a resolution to approve the Ox Cart Days dance location in the downtown square and resolutions to approve Irishman’s Shanty, Crookston Inn, and Draft’s Sports Bar and Grill to dispense liquor on premises during the festival. There will be a resolution to approve the State of Minnesota Agency Agreement for a Federal Airport Expenses Reimbursement, a liquor license for Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor, an amendment tp the City of Crookston Water use Restrictions, and there will be resolutions to approve the hiring of the new Parks and Recreation Director Jacob Solberg and a resolution to approve increasing the budget for the street department to purchase a stump cutter.

A special Ways and Means meeting has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items.
