CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL TO MEET ON MONDAY, WILL VOTE TO START A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday at the Crookston City Hall Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m.

The consent agenda includes the approval of the City Council meeting minutes from June 28, and to approve the bills and disbursements in the amount of $160,141.27.

There will be a public hearing on the question of modifying the resolution concerning the Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority.

The regular agenda has a resolution to approve modifying the restated Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority enabling resolution, a resolution to appoint Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority Board members, and a second and final reading of the ordinance authorizing and creating a community development department.
The regular agenda also includes the acceptance of donations to the Park and Recreation Department, approving plans and specifications and calling for bids on the Central Park Campground improvements, and approving the City of Crookston Fire and Rescue services mutual aid agreement. 

The Ways and Means Committee meeting for Monday has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items.
