CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL, WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE TO MEET MONDAY

The Crookston City Council will meet Monday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers at city hall.  The meeting will begin with a mayoral proclamation declaring Thursday, February 13 as ‘Giving Hearts Day’ in Crookston. 

All remaining items are on the consent agenda including approving the January 27 meeting minutes, approving City of Crookston bills and disbursements totaling $200,282.12, appointing Dale Stainbrook as mayor, awarding a bid for an upgrade to LED lights at the Crookston Sports Center, calling for public hearings for the street vacation and developer’s agreements with the Nature View Estates Plat 5 project, and approving a 2020 liquor license for L & C Stahlecker and Sons DBA: Crookston Inn.

Dylane Klatt will also be sworn in as the new council member for Ward 6. 

The Ways & Means Committee will meet immediately following the city council meeting.  The agenda includes approving the meeting reports of two meetings on January 27, discussion on renewing the UMC lease of cash farmland at the Crookston Airport, and discuss scheduling for a city council strategic planning meeting.
