CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL, WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE TO MEET MONDAY

The Crookston City Council will meet Monday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall.  There is one item on the regular agenda, a resolution to vacate the gravel portion of Eickhof Boulevard as part of the Natures View Estates Plat 5 addition. 

The consent agenda includes approving the February 24 meeting minutes, bills and disbursements in the amount of $286,978.60, accept donations totaling $350 for Kids First, and a resolution to appoint Jennifer Tate to the Planning Commission to fill the unexpired term of Joe Kresl.  There are also resolutions to approve the donation of a surplus network service cabinet to the Crookston Youth Foundation and to call for a public hearing to change zoning for Nature View Estates Plat 5.  The final item on the consent agenda is to approve a regulation to declare an emergency for the City of Crookston for the anticipated spring flood event.

The Ways & Means Committee will review an application for the revolving loan grant from the Crookston Eagles, review quotes for new showers at the Crookston Community Pool, review the budget for the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (CVB) and the proposed amended agreement between the City of Crookston, Crookston Chamber, and CVB.  The group will also review the City Council’s board and commission assignments.   The meeting will conclude with a closed session for negotiations discussion pursuant to MN Government Data Practices Act Statute 13D.03, Subd. 1 (b).
