The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. The regular agenda includes one item, a resolution to appoint Chris Plante to fill the vacant Ward 6 seat. The consent agenda includes approving the September 23 minutes, approving bills and disbursements, and accepting a $150 donation from Husky Group of Companies. Also included is an addendum to update the law enforcement Special Operations Group Joint Powers Agreement, the acceptance and awarding of a bid for Radio Read Water Meters to Core & Main in Fargo for $186,405.74, and a resolution authorizing the abidance of the Respect Minnesota Pledge.
The Ways & Means Committee agenda includes approving the September 23 meeting report, an update on the Tobacco-Free Policy, a development agreement for Nature View Estates, a discussion on infill housing, and information on the Park Board Facilities Brainstorming Session scheduled for Wednesday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will conclude with a closed session to discuss Labor Negotiations pursuant to the MN Government Data Practice Act, Statute 13D.03, Subd. 1 (b).
