CROOKSTON CITY COUNCIL, WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE TO MEET TUESDAY NIGHT

The Crookston City Council will meet on Tuesday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  All items of business are on the consent agenda.  They include approving minutes from the October 28 meeting and the November 4 special meeting.  A resolution to approve the City of Crookston bills and disbursements, and a resolution to approve payment estimate no. 5 – final to O’Day Equipment for the Airport Fuel System.

There are also several resolutions setting public hearings for November 25.  The public hearings notices have been published on KROXAM.COM for street improvements and other proposed assessments.  

The Ways & Means Committee will be meeting immediately following the Crookston City Council meeting.  The agenda includes approving the agenda, the presentation of a timeline for the Nature View Estates Development Agreement, and a staff recommendation to proceed with LED lighting projects for City Hall, the Police Department, Fire Department, Airport, Park Shop, Street Shop, and Water Plant.  Staff is recommending to not complete the lighting project for Highland Park and to gather further information on the lighting projects for the Library and Crookston Sports Center.

The final item on the agenda is a request for a closed session for a performance evaluation of the City Administrator made by City Administrator Shannon Stassen.  The motion to close the meeting would be pursuant to MN Government Data Practice Act; MN Statute Section 13D.05, Subd. 1(d), 3(a).
