The Crookston City Council will meet on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
The Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) will first hold a special meeting at 6:35 p.m. to discuss approving the payables for the month of August.
The meeting will begin with a Presentation of the City of Crookston’s Audited Financial States for the year ended December 31, 2021.
The Consent Agenda will include the approval of the City Council from their meeting on August 8 and the approval of the City of Crookston Bills and Disbursements in the amount of $280,481.67.
The Regular Agenda will include a resolution to approve the City of Crookston Redistricting Ward Boundaries, and calling a public hearing with respect to amending the City Code Chapter 11 entitled “Ward Boundaries” and then introducing an ordinance of the amends by changing section 11.01 “Ward Boundaries.” The final items on the Agenda will be to approve two Electric Line Easements for Ottertail Power Company for the Water Plant and Ag Innovation.
The Crookston Ways & Means Committee will then meet after the City Council meeting to discuss the budgets for the Council, Mayor, City Administrator, Finance Department, the election, Audit, Legal Department, and the EDA.
The next City Council meeting will take place on Monday, September 5, at 7:00 p.m. inside the City Hall Council Chambers.
