CROOKSTON CIVIC MUSIC LEAGUE WELCOMES FRISSON ON MONDAY

Crookston Civic Music League members can look forward to the third concert offered for the 2022-2023 Entertainment Series.

The Frisson Ensemble will be coming to Crookston on Monday, February 27, 2023. The show will be held at the Crookston High School Auditorium, beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Frisson is America’s hottest new classical group from New York City, known for performing various genres and styles, including classical, popular, folk, and jazz music.

The American Tribute Tour will feature beloved music from Gershwin and Cole Porter, melodies from “Appalachian Spring,”  American themes from Dvorak’s music, ragtime from Scott Joplin, and perhaps a Stephen Foster song.

Frisson is French for a shiver or a thrill. And thrill you, Frisson will. Led by oboist Thomas Gallant, the young virtuosos play with life, zest, and brilliance!
