The Crookston Pirate Clay Target team is in third place after three weeks of competition in the fall season. Elijah Hoppe and Garrett Wilkens each had a perfect 25 and are sitting in the top five shooters in the conference. “All the returning shooters seem to be shooting consistently, which helps keep the team at their current spot. The younger shooters are still doing well, working on getting more consistent with increases in their scores,” said Coach Randy Prudhomme. “With only 2 weeks left, we are getting a mix of emotions, with the majority a little sad, knowing they will need to wait until spring to start shooting again.“
