CRAZY DAYS IN CROOKSTON IS THURSDAY, JULY 18 AT PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES

The Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce and participating businesses will host the annual Crazy Days event filled with deals on Thursday, July 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  “Our theme this year is – Rockin’ Crazy Days – putting a little spin on it.  Our sales throughout town are going to be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Area restaurants and merchants have been reaching out with their deals, and we’ve been putting those out on Facebook daily so make sure you check that and business websites out,” said Crookston Area Chamber Executive Director Terri Heggie.  “Also, we will have OOf-Da Tacos in front of City Hall, and then Total Betty, a women’s clothing store out of Thief River Falls, will have their truck in the Wayne Parking Lot across from Erickson Embroidery.”

Live music is coming to Crazy Days in the evening, along with viewing of the she-shed being raffled off this summer and the KROX Crazy Days auction.  “We’re going to have the she-shed viewing for our Women’s Leadership Network fundraising event going on right now. That’s that adorable 8×10 she-shed that everybody is falling in love with and will be set up in the Wayne Parking Lot where you can buy your $25 raffle ticket.  The drawing for that will be August 26. We also can’t forget about the staple of Crazy Days, and that is the 58th Annual KROX Crazy Days Auction in the Tri-Valley Parking Lot at 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.”

Heggie encourages everyone to take part in a full day of fun and local deals.  “We encourage everybody to come out and support local, shop local, and have fun local,” said Heggie. “There is going to be activities going on from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and then is a little bit of something for everyone.  So, come on out to enjoy Crazy Days by shopping and spending your day local.”
