The Crookston Eagles Auxiliary is hosting “Bras for a Cause” for Breast Cancer Awareness month, where you decorate, bedazzle, or make your own bra. Join them in raising money for the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer, a 501©3 charity in Orono, MN.
Bring your bra to the Crookston Eagles Club by Friday, October 21, with your $20 entry fee. Everyone that participates will receive a prize worth more than the entry fee! Online voting for your favorite bra will begin Saturday, October 22. Then, come to the club on Friday, October 28, for the “Bras for a Cause” final voting and party! Friday night food baskets will be available for purchase, meat raffles, horse racing, and play Jackpot Bingo. The men of the Crookston Eagles Aerie officers and members will model the bras throughout the night, encouraging you to “vote” for their modeled bra by giving a monetary donation towards it. The bra with the most online votes and money collected will win the grand prize! The Crookston Eagles are also taking new or slightly used bras.
These bras will be donated to a local shelter for women who are in need. All monetary proceeds will go to Hope Chest for Breast Cancer. This is in honor of the Minnesota Eagles State Madam President Nancy Wadsworth, as this is her charity for the year, and she is a breast cancer survivor.
