The Crookston Fire Department is hosting the annual Water Wars on Thursday, July 26 on Ash Street in Crookston.
There is room for 10 teams. Two team members compete at a time and teams may consist of more than two members. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
The Water Wars tournament will be best of three to win each round with a match point awarded to the team that moves the keg to the opposing team’s line or on the opposing team’s side of the center line after the time limit of 45 seconds. All participants must wear a fire coat and eye protection while participating in the contest.
First place will get $150 in Chamber Bucks, second place will get $100 in Chamber Bucks and third place will get $50 in Chamber Bucks.
