SUPER BOWL HOST COMMITTEE DISTRIBUTES FINAL DONATIONS, POLK COUNTY RECEIVES ONE OF THE GRANTS

As the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee (MNSBHC) closes the books on a successful Super Bowl, it’s Legacy Fund is providing a final 52 grants to the recipients of its 52 Weeks of Giving.  This final ‘dividend’ grant, in the amount of $1,475 will be provided to each of the 52 organizations selected as part of the Legacy Fund’s yearlong program supporting community organizations across Minnesota working to promote the health and wellness of kids and families.

52 Weeks of Giving celebrated the 52-week countdown to Super Bowl LII (52).  The Legacy Fund invested more than $5.5 million in communities across Minnesota over the course of the year; today’s giving adds another $76,698 to that total.  These Dividend Grants, over and above the initial award, may be used to supplement their project. “52 Weeks of Giving is just one of the many ways we ensured that Super Bowl LII had a positive impact on our entire state,” said Maureen Bausch, CEO of the MNSBHC. “We are happy to surprise these 52 recipients with an additional grant so support their wonderful work. We hope the Super Bowl helped inspire a healthier, more active generation of Minnesota kids.
