The Crookston First Responder Academy is holding an Information Open House on Wednesday, August 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the North Fire Station in Crookston for high school Juniors and Seniors to learn about a ten-week introduction program to EMS and firefighter skills. The ten-week program will be held on Wednesday nights and will begin in October. Participants will learn first aid, firefighting operations, CPR and AED certification, fire behavior, emergency responder skills, and patient assessment.
