The Crookston Pirate Girls basketball team had a solid all-around game to beat the Thief River Falls Prowlers 47-31 in a Section 8AA game played at Lincoln High School Gymnasium in Thief River Falls.

FIRST HALF
Crookston started the game strong and jumped out to an early lead and held the lead for the rest of the half for a 21-14 lead going into halftime.
SECOND HALF
Crookston continued its solid play and built a 38-21 lead with 8:10 left in the game. The teams played even over the final eight minutes and Crookston held on to win 47-31.
Crookston improves to 4-10 on the year and will play at Roseau on Tuesday. Thief River Falls drops to 2-12 on the year.
