The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Swimmers finished third place out of the three-team Thief River Falls Triangular. Thief River Falls won the meet with 228 points, while Fosston was second with 151 and Crookston third place with 107 points.
Crookston was led by Madison Hoiland with a first-place finish in the 100 backstroke. Hoiland also had a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle and was on two second-place relay teams.
Claire Oman had a solid meet with a third-place finish in the 200 IM and she was also on two second-place relay teams.
Mackenzie Aamoth also had a solid meet with a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke and two second-place relay finishes.
Crookston will travel to the Fosston-Bagley triangular on Thursday, September 9 and will swim against Fosston-Bagley and Perham.
