CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL CROWNS SNOWFEST ROYALTY, HOLDS PEP FEST

Seniors Eden Haller and Gavin Boman-Salem were crowned Queen and King of Snowfest during a pep fest Friday morning at Crookston High School.  The pep fest also included performances by Pirates Girls Basketball, the Treasurettes, a royalty three-legged sack race, and a highly entertaining pie-eating contest.   The seniors from winter activities including the One Act, Speech, Knowledge Bowl, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Treasurettes, Boys Hockey, Girls Hockey, Wrestling, and Figure Skating were also introduced.

King – Gavin Boman-Salem

11th Grade Princess – Emily Funk
11th Grade Prince – Lucas Winger

10th Grade Princess – Olivia Huck
10th Grade Prince – Chadwick Childress

9th Grade Princess – Carly Brown
9th Grade Prince – Omar Petithomme

Participants in the Pie-Eating Contest were –

Seniors – Tai Baig, Emily Gillette, Caden Osborn
Juniors – Charlie Burks, Emma Boll
Sophomores – Treyden Turnwall, Madison Hoiland
Freshman – Dalton Delude, Abby Borowicz
8th Graders – Gabby Corrales, Kal-el McPhail
7th Graders – Hunter Nicholas, Matthew Contreras
Teachers/Staff – Mr. Brenden, Mr. Zimmerman, Mr. Kofoed, Mr. Bubna

Hunter Nicholas was the first to finish his pie.  The winner won a pie from School Resource Officer Don Rasicot.
