The Crookston High School Knowledge Bowl is going to state! Crookston finished in third place out of the top 18 teams in the Section competition. With the third-place finish, the Pirate team will advance to state in April. “It was a little nerve-racking with the predicted poor weather conditions, so the meet was reduced from five oral rounds to four, but everyone still played well, and we had a lot of fun,” said Coach Katelyn Stegman.
Members of the team (pictured below) are Ben Capistran, Ethan Lanctot, Xavier Mason, Leah Johanneck, and Lily Olmstad.
