The Crookston High School Knowledge Bowl team continued their outstanding start to the season with a first and fourth-place finish at Wednesday’s competition in Thief River Falls. It was Crookston’s third straight first-place finish and the make-up of all three teams has been a different mix of kids each time.
The top Crookston team of Josh Bernia, Anna Huck, Katherine Geist, Lily Sandman, and Ben Brantner finished first place out of 41 teams at Thief River Falls.
The Crookston fourth-place team consisted of Scott Cordova, Anke Weirsma, Janae Luckow, Ella Weber, and Tai Baig.
The next competition will be held at the University of Minnesota Crookston on Tuesday, January 28.
