CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL PROM WILL BE SATURDAY, APRIL 30

Crookston High School Leo Club Advisor Linda Morgan will be on the KROX Focus on Education program Saturday morning to inform everyone that the High School’s Junior/Senior prom is coming up next Saturday, April 30. Grand March will start at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner will follow.  After dinner, the dance will start and last until 11:00 p.m., with an after-party until 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning. The prom’s theme this year is “Beyond the Clouds.”

The Leo Club and a Junior Committee of 10 girls will be setting up and decorating the school gymnasium and commons leading up to prom.

Saturday will start with students meeting at Minakwa Golf Course to have their pictures taken by Dave Emanuel before they come to the High School. Grand March will start at 5:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. “Once they come in, we put the girls on one side, and the boys on another, and they drop off their bags, then they get into the lines for the Grand March,” said Leo Club and Prom Advisor Linda Morgan.
The public is invited to attend Grand March at a cost of $5 per person. “This all goes to help with the fundraiser for prom too, and it’s a junior and senior class fund that all the money goes to,” added Morgan.

After Grand March, students will be served a dinner provided by Drafts Sports Bar and Grill. They will be serving a pasta buffet.  After dinner, they will open the dance floor, with The Undertakers playing music until 11:00 p.m.

The Annual After-Prom Party will be held in the gymnasium, commons, and auditorium that will go until Sunday at 3:00 a.m.

Morgan reported that over 125 students have signed that they will be attending prom.
