The Crookston High School Speech team competed in the Subsection 30 meet at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School in Glyndon, and will send three to the Section 8A competition.
Lily Olmstead finished first place in storytelling and advances to sections. Zac Plante finished second place in Creative Expression and advances to sections. Nashelle Tellez finished fourth in Original Oratory and advanced to sections. Hamsini Chanda finished fifth place in Original Oratory and is the first alternate for sections.
The team is coached by Brandon Lee and Kate Mulvey, and they will compete in the Section 8A Competition on April 14 in Fosston.
