The Crookston High School Speech team kicked off their tournament season this past Saturday at Fergus Falls, with three students taking home medals.
Shayla Azure and Zac Plante competed in Duo Interpretation, taking home 2nd place. Azure also received 6th place in Drama, and Plante received 6th place in Humor honors finals. Haley Voss received 6th place in Original Oratory.
Other students competing included Ciaran Mulvey in Prose, John Lisov in Humor, and Lily Olmstead in Storytelling.
The team will compete on Saturday at Dilworth-Glyndon Felton High School.
