CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL SPEECH TAKES SECOND IN TEAM SWEEPS AT RLCC

The Crookston High School Speech team had a successful weekend competing at Red Lake County Central, taking 2nd place in team sweeps.

1st place finishes were recorded by Zara Baig in Humor, Sam Rezac in Storytelling, and Brandon Wandrie in Original Oratory.
Taking 3rd place was Ivan Luckow in Creative Expression, Lincoln Waldal in Discussion, and Grace Smith in Extemporaneous Reading.
Winning superior ribbons were Tessa Weber in Discussion, Shayla Azure and Zac Plante in Humor, Mareile Meyer in Poetry, and Ciaran Mulvey in Prose.
Also competing in Dramatic Interpretation were Shayla Azure and Hayley Leckie.

Crookston will be hosting its first varsity speech tournament at Crookston High School on Saturday, February 18.
