The Crookston Speech Team competed this past Saturday in Blackduck, with four students earning awards! In the category of Humorous Interpretation, George French took 1st place, Zara Baig took 3rd place, and Shayla Azure won a red ribbon. In the category of Dramatic Interpretation, Emily Balboa took 3rd place.
Also competing were Isaac Wandrie and Jack Anderson in Great Speeches, Thor Harbott in Discussion, and Brandon Wandrie in Creative Expression. The team plans to compete in East Grand Forks next Saturday.
