Crookston High School Students Recently Participated in MSUM Honor Band

On Tuesday, November 5, two Crookston High School Band students participated in the Minnesota State University Moorhead Honor Band. Nashelle Tellez Vasquez, playing Clarinet, and Hayley Leckie, playing Bass Clarinet, joined over 75 other students from all around the area.

The honor band, led by Dr. Benjamin Druffel, rehearsed at MSUM for about three hours and then had a concert at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Crookston High School Band Director Manny Green said the students found Dr. Druffel fun and engaging, and they loved the music he chose for them to play.

Congratulations to Hayley and Nashelle on being part of the MSUM High School Honor Band.
