On Friday, March 8, the Crookston High School Beginning Welding classes visited the American Crystal Sugar Factory in Crookston for a presentation and a factory tour.
The tour included the students learning how sugar is made and all of the plant’s different areas. “This is always a unique opportunity for the students, as there are plenty of people in Crookston who have never had the chance to go inside the factory,” said teacher Travis Oliver. “I would like to thank Cory and Zach for allowing us to come out. Thank you also to the different “Tour Guides” we had. American Crystal Sugar has plenty of opportunities for students.
