Crookston High School is all set to hold its annual Senior Fun Day for the graduation class of 2024. This year, the school will have the Fun Day on Wednesday, May 22, at Trinity Point on Maple Lake.
Crookston High School seniors will have the chance to participate in outdoor activities and games throughout the day, typically including spike ball and football. Crookston. “I go out there early and bring all the food, and we bring some games. The kids bring different games like the bean bag toss or spike ball, I get us some balls (footballs and volleyballs) from the gym, and I bring those out,” said High School Leo Club Advisor Linda Morgan. “The kids just play, jump in the water, and just hang out for a few hours, and hopefully, they all have fun.”
The students will have the opportunity to socialize with one another and lunch will be served at Noon. At 1:30 p.m., the students will load back onto the school buses to return to the high school.
All Crookston High School Seniors will be asked to attend as it is their official last day of school. Students who do not want to participate may have a parent call the school to excuse them. “It’s a fun day for the seniors, and they always look forward to it,” said Morgan. “There’s about four or five of us that chaperone it, and we have fun.” Morgan also wanted to give a special shout-out to the after-prom committee for providing chips and drinks for Senior Fun Day.
