Crookston High School to host Senior Citizen Brunch and performance April 13

The Crookston High School will host its annual Senior Citizen Brunch and a viewing of the High School Drama Department’s spring play “Little Shop of Horrors” on Monday, April 13. Breakfast for the senior citizens will be served at 8:30 a.m. at the Crookston High School Commons, and the play will start at about 9:15 a.m. in the Crookston High School auditorium. There is no charge, and no registration is required.

Crookston High School LEO Club Advisor Linda Morgan said it is a great annual event. We’d like to invite everybody to come and see the play if you don’t get to go that weekend,” said Morgan. “We will give you some rides on golf carts from the parking lot. This is just a nice way for our community to come together and to come to our school, and to help serve you.”

Morgan says the students will start serving breakfast around 8:30 a.m., and there will be time to visit with the other folks who are attending as well as with her Leo Club students. “You could come maybe around 8 o’clock. I already have it sectioned off where we could seat you,” said Morgan. “We’ll serve you some coffee. And then we’ll probably try to start serving breakfast about 8:30 a.m. We have bagels and muffins, yogurt, and fruit.”

The Senior Citizen Brunch and play is on Monday, April 13, with breakfast starting at 8:30 a.m. The Drama Club will perform “Little Shop of Horrors” for the audience after breakfast, around 9:15 a.m. If you have any questions, you can call Linda Morgan at 218-281-2144.
