CROOKSTON HOUSING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MEETING

The Crookston Housing and Economic Development (CHEDA) Board met this morning to cover a full agenda of business items. They passed resolutions for Disposition of (the construction trades house) at 1610 Barrette Street; for Site Control of a 1-acre parcel for the Agassiz Townhomes project; for Acceptance of 2017 Capital Funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for various Oak Court projects; and for Acceptance of the assets from the recently-dissolved Crookston Jobs, Inc.

The Board agreed with Executive Director Craig Hoiseth’s recommendation to update their three-year old Housing Study, at a cost of $8,900. Hoiseth explained that a current housing study is a useful tool when working with developers.
