The Crookston Public Library’s Books & Brews Book Club will meet Monday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Irishman’s Shanty, 1501 S. Main St. The group meets the third Monday of every other month to discuss books and enjoy beverages. This month they will discuss “Heartland” by Sarah Marsh, an eye-opening memoir of working-class poverty in America.
Appetizers are provided by the Friends of the Crookston Public Library; participants are responsible for the cost of their own food and drinks. All are welcome.
