The Crookston Public Library invites community members to an Open House at the library on Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., showcasing the many resources available at the library. Family history researchers will enjoy a demonstration of the free tools available to cardholders, including Ancestry.com and HeritageQuest, as well as the library’s new digital microfilm reader.
Polk County Public Health will provide free blood pressure checks from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. and Tri-Valley Bus will offer free transportation with stops at the Summit, Summerfield, Oak Court, and Nimens Espegard C building. Refreshments, giveaways and door prizes will be available. This event is offered free of charge and is open to the public.
