The Crookston Police Department responded to a call of a stabbing at the 100 Block West of 8th Street on the north side of town between Broadway and Main Street on Friday afternoon.
Reports say the victim had been stabbed multiple times, and the police have a suspect in custody. The victim was transported to the hospital for their injuries.

On Friday, at 4:05 p.m., Crookston Police Department was dispatched to the 100 Block of West 8th Street, for a report that a victim had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim lying on the ground outside of her residence, who had appeared to have sustained multiple stab wounds.
The male suspect, Kevin Corona, age 36, of Crookston, was located on the scene and was immediately taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Northwest Regional Correctional Center.
Crookston Area Ambulance arrived on the scene and transported the victim to RiverView Health Care, where she was later transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
This is an ongoing, active, and criminal investigation. No further details at this time. This was an isolated incident and no known concern for Public Safety.
