Gary Herbert Sundquist, 64 of Crookston, has been sentenced to 71 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud. Sundquist has credit for 612 days served. Sundquist appeared in Polk County
He was charged with third-degree sale of a controlled substance and third-degree possession of a controlled substance in a prohibited zone.
Sundquist was arrested November 6, 2023 when a vehicle he was riding in didn’t come to a complete stop at an intersection. Sundquist was on supervised release and showed signs of suspected drug use. A urine test had Sundquist positive for methamphetamine, amphetamine and THC.
A search of Sundquist’s apartment found drug paraphernalia and residue. Since his apartment was in a school/park/public housing zone, he received a tougher sentence.
