CROOKSTON PARK AND REC HOSTING A STREETBALL 3-ON-3 TOURNEY

The Crookston Park and Rec Department will be hosting their second annual 3 on 3 Streetball tournament July 27 and 28 in downtown Crookston.  The kids will play on Friday with the adults playing on Saturday.  “We started it last year and play it out in the street and we get teams from all over.  Teams from Thompson, Fargo, Grand Forks, and from Minnesota,” said Butt. “All-in-all it is a fun time and we are still taking registrations (see link below for the form).  We had a lot of fun last year and it is a big draw and fun for the community and the people participating.
Butt reminded parents and kids that Park and Rec Activities will not be held the week of July 4.  “We have one baseball game on July 2, but for the most part everything will be shut down the week of the fourth,” said Butt.
