CROOKSTON PIRATE FOOTBALL GETS THE NUMBER THREE SEED FOR SECTION 8AA FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

The Crookston Pirate football team, fresh off a 50-15 win over Staples-Motley on Wednesday night was named the number three seed for the Section 8AA Football playoffs that start on Tuesday. The Seeds were as follows:
1.  Barnesville         8-0
2.  Pelican Rapids     7-1
3.  Crookston           3-5
4.  Frazee                5-3
5.  Hawley               2-6
6.  Warroad             2-6

On Tuesday – October 25 –  6:00 PM
Warroad  at  Crookston
Hawley  at  Frazee
#1 Barnesville and #2 Pelican Rapids get first round byes

Saturday –  October 29  –  2:00 PM
Warroad or Crookston    at   Pelican Rapids
Hawley or Frazee    at   Barnesville

Friday –  November 4     8:00 PM   at   Fargodome
Championship

Barnesville is defending champion and a strong favorite to win another Section title. Crookston has not played Warroad this season, but they remember the Warriors well as Warroad defeated Crookston 42-18 in a Section first round game last year in Warroad.
