CROOKSTON PIRATE GIRLS GOLF WIN THE TRF INVITE

The Crookston Pirate Boys Girls’ Golf team had a solid first outing of the season and shot a nine-hole team total of 199, which was six strokes better than the East Grand Forks Green Wave in the Thief River Falls Invitational at the Thief River Falls Golf Club.

HALLE NICHOLAS- The Sophomore was solid with seven bogies, one double bogey, and one triple bogey for a 48, which was the second-best score overall.

KAYLIE CLAUSON – The Junior also had a solid and consistent round by recording six bogies, two double bogies, and one quadruple bogey for a 50, which was a tie for the fourth-best score overall.

AVA MARTIN – The Sophomore had a great start to the season by shooting a 50, which was a tie for the fourth-best score of the day. She had one par, three bogies, four double bogies, and one triple bogey.

CORAL BREKKEN – The Senior led the team with two pars on her way to a 51. She also had one bogey, four double bogies, and two triple bogies.

MORGAN NELSON – The senior also shot a 51. She was consistent with four bogies, four double bogies, and one triple bogey.

GEORGIA SANDERS – The Senior shot a 56. She had two bogies, four double bogies, two triple bogies, and one quad.
