The Crookston Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, February 16 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The commission will review the Crookston Tomorrow Comprehensive Plan issued in March 2016 before considering four items on the agenda.
The first request on the agenda is a variance for the Ag Innovation Campus’s height. Per City Ordinance, the maximum height of a building in the industrial zone is 40 feet. The principal structure’s request is to be 46 feet with additional storage bin heights not exceeding 120 feet. The committee will also consider a request for a conditional use permit from Red River Valley Shows to create a 15-unit recreational campsite on the parcel west of AmericInn.
The committee is also asked to review the proposed 2021 street improvements for compliance with the comprehensive plan and recommend they proceed. The final item will be a land-use determination for 110 Lincoln Ave’s proposed sale, with the staff recommending the property remains a residential R2 zone, as it currently is.
