The Crookston Police Department responded two accident reports on Monday, January 6. The first occurred at 11:56 a.m. on the 700-block of Washington Ave between a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Sarah Follette of Crookston, and a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Audrey Stoe of Crookston. There were no injuries and both vehicles had minor damage.
The second accident occurred at 2:12 p.m. on N Front St and Sheridan St between a 2004 F150 driven by Jeremy Goulet of Crookston, and 2008 Nissan Altima driven by Ashley Wiederholt of Crookston. There were no injuries and both vehicles had severe damage. A citation was issued to Wiederholt for failure to yield.
