The Crookston Police Department reported two accidents on Wednesday, February 27. The first occurred at 12:25 p.m. at N Central Ave and Alexander St between a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Chandra Anderson of Crookston and a 2017 Dodge Journey, driven by Spencer Luckow of Fertile. Luckow for issued a citation for failure to yield. Nobody was injured and both vehicles had moderate damage.
The second accident occurred a 9:00 p.m. at E Robert St and N Broadway between a 2014 Chevrolet Captiva, driven by Sara Johnson of Crookston and a 2003 Ford Focus driven by David Stewart of Crookston. There were no injuries and both vehicles had severe damage. A citation was issued to Steward for failure to obey a traffic control device.
