CROOKSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO VEHICLE-PEDESTRAIN ACCIDENT

On Thursday, December 16th, at approximately 5:12 p.m. the Crookston Police Department was dispatched to 300 block of North Broadway for a report of a vehicle-pedestrian accident with injuries. The preliminary investigation indicates that Bradley Harold Jenkins, 69, of Crookston, was crossing North Broadway on foot, outside of the crosswalk, when he was struck by a 2012 Honda CR-V driven by Keith David Mills, 76, of Crookston, who was traveling north on North Broadway. Crookston Area Ambulance arrived and transported Jenkins to RiverView Healthcare where he was later transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Neither party showed signs of impartment, however, this is an ongoing active investigation, and no further details will be released at this time. The Crookston Police Department was assisted by the Crookston Area Ambulance.
