On May 3, 2022, at 12:24, officers from the Crookston Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of N. Main St. and 3rd St. after the report of a three-vehicle accident.
Initial investigation of the accident revealed that a 2009 Dodge Journey was driving South on N Main St in the middle lane and attempted to turn East onto 3rd St. colliding into a 2000 Jaguar. As a result, the Journey spun out and struck a 2017 Dodge Ram that was stopped at 3rd St. and N Main St. No one was injured in the crash, with minor damage to all vehicles.
The driver of the Dodge Journey is identified as Taylor Johnson of Crookston and was cited for Turning at Intersections and Driving without a valid Driver’s License.
The driver of the Jaguar is identified as David Macierzynski of Crookston. Macierzynski was not injured in this incident.
The driver of the Dodge Ram is identified as Austin Richter of Fargo. Richter was not injured in this incident.
