CROOKSTON POOL TO ADD AN EXTRA HOUR OF OPEN SWIMMING OVER BREAK

The Crookston Community Pool will be open an extra hour next Wednesday through Friday for open swim explains pool manager Cody Brekken. “During Christmas break, we will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day, as well as New Year’s Eve and New Years Day,” said Brekken. “We’ll be open a little earlier Wednesday through Friday for open swim, which will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.”
Open swim will be at its normal time on Saturday, December 29 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. There will be no lap swim or aqua aerobics over break. The regular pool hours with lap swim from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m., aqua aerobics 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and open swim from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. during the week.
The Crookston pool will also be offering swim lessons in January, the deadline to register is Thursday, January 3. “After the break we have swim lessons starting on January 7,” said Brekken. “Forms have been sent to all the schools, and there are additional forms at the pool, we have a 24-hour drop box at the pool to turn them in.”
