CROOKSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY TO HOLD BOOK DISCUSSION AT DRAFTS SPORTS BAR & GRILL

Join the Crookston Public Library for a book club discussion of “Crying in H Mart” by Michelle Zauner. In this memoir, Zauner tells of growing up in one of the only Asian American households in her town of Eugene, Ore., of struggling with her mother’s high expectations. How they ultimately bonded, and how, after becoming removed from her culture, Zauner reclaimed the gifts of taste, language, and history her mother had given her.

This program will be held at Drafts Sports Bar & Grill on Tuesday, November 18, at 6:30 p.m. Appetizers will be provided by the Friends of the Crookston Public Library; participants are responsible for the cost of any additional food and all drinks.  All adults are welcome to attend. Registration is not required.  For more information, visit the library website or call the library at 218-281-4522.
