Crookston Public Library to offer a how to use the library program for kids January 26 and 27

The Crookston Public Library will host a hands-on learning activity offering youth ages 5-13 a chance to learn about how to use the library, as well as an opportunity for parents and caregivers to explore the many educational resources the library offers. The program will be held in two sessions, one on Monday, January 26, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. and the other on Tuesday, January 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

The following week, Special Storytimes featuring Miss St. Croix Valley 2026, Whitney McClain, will be held, which are scheduled Friday, January 30 at 1 p.m. at the Climax-Shelly Public School and Tuesday, February 3 at 4 p.m. at the Crookston Public Library. A weekly Storytime is held at the Crookston Public Library on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., inviting children and their caregivers to enjoy an exploration of different themes with stories, songs, rhymes and more. Storytime is geared for youth ages 3-6 but all ages are invited to join the fun.
