Highland Elementary School has had a power outage and the district has been notified power will be out for some time. Superintendent Jeremy Olson sent an email announcing the district will release students early today as a result of the outage. The email is below –
Highland School is without power and currently, we have been notified that we will be without power for at least an additional 2 hours. Due to the transportation schedules the busses cannot transport kids home for just Highland and make it back to transport students at the other schools therefore we are dismissing the entire district as follows:
1:15 p.m. -Washington School
1:35 p.m. -Highland School
1:55 p.m. -CHS
