Crookston Public Schools will hold their annual Back to School Registration Day on Thursday, August 15 at Crookston High School commons from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Registration day is for pre-school through 12th-grade students with information packets handed out for families.“It’s an opportunity for people that are new to Crookston or existing parents to come to interact with staff members and look at registration information,” said Crookston School District Superintendent Jeremy Olson. “It’s a chance for us to get to know you a little better. It’s a day focused on relationships and building relationships with our parents.”
Families can pay breakfast and lunch fees, activity fees, and fill out transportation paperwork. “Throughout the day you can register students for school,” said Olson. “Fill out paperwork to help with transportation if you’ve had a move or change. And interact with various departments like food service.”
New families, school readiness, and kindergarten student can register, meet school personal, and receive information about the school district. KROX will be broadcasting live from Back to School Registration Day with interviews from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
