After being canceled three times in just 2022, the Crookston Rotary Club finally held its Annual Beer and Wine Tasting Charity Fundraiser last night in the Crookston Inn Ballroom from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Fundraiser had tables for guests to sit at and enjoy beer and wine samples along with d’oeuvres, charcuterie boards, and a variety of desserts that were donated by RBJ’s, B&E Meats, and Opdahl’s Donuts. A large table in the center of the room held a group of vendors giving out samples of beers and wines from brewers such as McKinnon Company and D-S Beverages Inc.
The Fundraiser also held a night full of raffle events and a silent auction that guests could buy tickets or sign their name for a chance to win money or prizes. Along with those, they held fun competitive games like Musical Chairs and Simon Says to gift bottles of wine to the winners.
All of the Fundraiser’s funds will go to various groups and businesses in the community, including for the Student of the Month Scholarships that they give to Crookston High School and University of Minnesota Crookston.
