CROOKSTON ROTARY’S 24TH ANNUAL ROSE SALE UNDERWAY

The 24th annual Crookston Rotary Rose Sale is underway. Roses are $15 a dozen, an extra $7 for arrangement, and another $3 if you want them delivered.

Crookston Rotary member Krista Proulx said the rose sale is one of the rotary’s biggest fundraisers raising proceeds to fund various scholarships, projects, and donations. “We started in 1995, and it is one of our biggest fundraisers,” said Proulx.  “We raise the money, and it’s used locally for Crookston High School student scholarships, UMC scholarships, AAA banquet, Rotary Youth Leadership Camp, which is RYLA.  We give money to Blast to Bede, Dictionaries for Kids, Fill the Bus, Unite the Night, Peace Pole, Toys for Tots and a number of other things.  So, it’s for a good cause.”

There are a number of ways to order, according to Proulx, and orders are due by Thursday, October 3. “They can get in contact with a Rotary member and let them know they’d like to order a dozen or two or three dozen,” said Proulx.
You can also place orders at the following places in Crookston –
-Northern Sky Bank
-NAPA/Crookston Welding and Machine
-RiverView Hospital Gift Shop
-Crookston Hardware Hank
-Bremer Bank

Roses will be available for pickup at Montague’s Flower Shop on Thursday, October 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
